Organizations of the World

I just witnessed a superb performance by my former team mate Viraj Madusanka (former team member of Quiz Club of Ananda College) yesterday night at DFCC Mindstar semi final, which made me excited to write another post on this field of General Knowledge.

This time the post will be on the key organizations that exist in the world, who are into humanitarian and aid work. As most of you know, most of these organizations are a part of UN, however there are ones that work independently from UN as well.

So the idea is to identify the headquarters of each of these key organizations, and the key people who head them right now. The designation of those heads varies from Director General to President. However, at a quizzer’s level it'll be sufficient to know the names of those heads.
